Business Development Manager – Clinical Trials

Location: Australia-wide (Remote)

We’re working with a leading clinical research organisation that plays a vital role in advancing global health through expertly managed clinical trials. As they continue to expand, we’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team and lead strategic client engagement across the country and globally.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in clinical trials and business development who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Candidates with no prior BD experience will not be considered.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and CROs
• Lead feasibility planning and proposal development
• Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences
• Manage CRM systems and report on pipeline activity
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in business development
• At least 2 years’ experience in the clinical trials sector
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Canva
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
