About the Role

We are seeking a Senior RWD Scientist to lead the design and execution of statistical analyses for oncology-focused real-world studies. This is a highly autonomous role working across claims, EHR, and genomic datasets — with a strong emphasis on Flatiron Health data. You will be a key contributor in a small, collaborative team, driving meaningful insights in a focused oncology research portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Flatiron Health datasets to build cohorts, derive lines of therapy, and conduct survival analyses.
  • Evaluate feasibility and relevance of real-world datasets for specific study objectives.
  • Develop and implement statistical analysis plans, quality control protocols, and study documentation.
  • Automate workflows and data refreshes to support efficient data pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with epidemiologists and scientists to refine analytic approaches and ensure scientific integrity.

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience applying statistical methods and performing analytics using real-world data (EHR and claims).
  • Prior hands-on experience with Flatiron Health data is required.
  • Proficiency in SAS or R, fluent in SQL, and confident working with macros.
  • Strong background in oncology-specific methodologies (e.g., deriving lines of therapy, conducting survival analyses).
  • Understanding of EHR data structures and real-world research processes.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.

Working Environment

  • Small, high-performing team with a sharp focus on oncology.
  • Fast-paced, independent work culture with opportunities for ownership.
  • Ideal for confident programmers and problem-solvers who can contribute immediately.

Why Join Us
