We are seeking an experienced PI Expert to support or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing partner. You will have deep, hands-on expertise with the AVEVA/OSI PI System and a strong background working in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals or biotechnology. In this role, you will help our client design, implement, and optimize data historian solutions that enable real-time data monitoring, reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement PI System architectures tailored for life sciences applications
- Configure and maintain PI Interfaces, Asset Framework (AF), and PI Vision dashboards
- Integrate the PI System with MES, ERP, and other OT/IT systems
- Ensure solutions comply with GxP, data integrity, and validation requirements
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on support throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with automation, IT, and quality teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions
Experience
- 8+ years of experience working with the AVEVA/OSI PI System
- In-depth knowledge of PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, and PI Interfaces
- Proven experience in the life sciences industry (pharma, biotech, or medical devices)
- Strong understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation best practices
- Familiarity with industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, or MQTT (a plus)
